Welcome to the Social Studies course by Pennant Education!
Social Studies classes (K-12) develop students’ understanding of history, geography, civics, economics, and cultural studies, helping them to appreciate the diverse world around them. The curriculum spans from early childhood concepts such as community and geography to more complex topics in U.S. history, world history, government, and global issues. Students learn to analyze primary and secondary sources, think critically about historical events, and understand the importance of civic engagement and responsible citizenship. - Economics: Supply and demand, economic systems, and resource management.
- World History and Global Studies: Major revolutions, wars, movements, and their contemporary impacts.
