Pennant Education invites your kids to step into a world of imagination, creativity, and magic — all through the power of writing. This summer, give your child the chance to turn wild ideas, imaginary adventures, and fantastical characters into stories with Once Upon a Summer!
Your Magical Camp Schedule

What Your Child Will Experience:
Each week, students will explore a new literary element:
- Week 1: Discover how to begin your magical story! Create your main character, give them personality traits, dreams, and goals, and expand your vocabulary along the way
- Week 2: Build a world for your hero — their surroundings, friends, and rivals — and develop their backstory.
- Week 3: Bring everything together into a clear and compelling plot, filled with conflict, magic, and a powerful ending.
This camp is the perfect chance to help your child build confidence, strengthen their creative thinking, and discover the magic of storytelling — all in a guided, uplifting environment.
Camp Format:
- 3 weeks (June, July or August sessions)
- 2 live classes per week
- 60 minutes per session
- Small groups (max. 5 students)
- Taught live on Zoom
- Beautiful certificate of completion, celebrating their journey as a young author.
By the end of the camp… Your child will walk away with their very own original short story, crafted from start to finish — and the joy of knowing they’re a real writer
