“Cybersecurity Adventures” is an ONLINE 6-hour one-on-one course where students learn how to protect themselves online through real-world simulations inside Minecraft Education. This fun, immersive experience teaches kids how to recognize threats, safeguard their privacy, and build safe online habits—all while solving challenges, building systems, and thinking like a digital defender.

Cybersecurity Adventures with Minecraft Education (6 hours)

Students will explore digital safety, data privacy, encryption, malware protection, and system defense using problem-solving, ethical reasoning, and hands-on simulations inside Minecraft.

Module 1: CyberSafe - Good Game

Students discover how to stay safe and respectful online while gaming and chatting

Key Concept: Online identity, cyberbullying prevention, safe communication habits

Module 2: Network Heroes - The Basics of Cybersecurity

Introduction to how networks function and why cybersecurity matters.

Key concept: Data transfer, malware, viruses, good cyber hygiene

Module 3: Cryptic Ciphers - Secrets & Codes

How encryption protects information and keeps our data safe

Key Concept: Caesar cipher, encryption/decryption, secure messaging

Module 4: Malware Mayhem - Spot the Threats

Understanding the most common types of malware and how to prevent them

Key Concept: Viruses, trojans, worms, warning signs, protective strategies

Module 5: Daring Defense - Build Your Digital Fortress

How to create a strong system defense using firewalls and secure access

Key Concept: Firewalls, access control, physical vs. digital defenses

Module 6: Final Mission - Cyber Defender Skills Test

Students complete a hands-on challenge to demonstrate their understanding of key cybersecurity principles covered in the course
