THE QUEST: 6 STEPS TO UNLOCK THE WORLD OF AI
Each 1.5-hour session is a chapter of the quest, where students unlock new abilities and uncover the powers of AI:
Week 1: Discovering AI — What It Is & Where It’s Found
What is AI, really? Kids discover how machines "learn", recognize patterns, and respond to human input.
Key Concept: Understanding the definition and real-world presence of AI
Week 2: How AI Learns — From Data to Decisions
They explore how data teaches machines to improve — and where that data comes from.
Key Concept: Machine learning through data and feedback
Week 3: Real-World AI — Uses, Careers & Consequences
From smart cities to AI in healthcare and climate, kids examine how tech is shaping the future — and the risks it brings.
Key Concept: The role of AI in modern industries and career pathways
Final Session: Ethics, Bias & Future Thinking
Understanding algorithmic bias and its real-world impact, exploring the ethical challenges of technologies like facial recognition, automation, and surveillance, and learning how to build a fair and responsible AI future.
Key Concept: Ethical thinking and responsible technology use
THE FINAL TREASURE: Cisco-Certified Achievement
At the end of their AI journey, students who complete all sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Cisco Networking Academy.

WHY FAMILIES LOVE THIS CAMP
I wanted Liza to do more than just “be on the computer” — I wanted her to understand how the world works. This camp was a great fit. She learned how AI works, why it can be biased, and even brought up ethical tech questions at the dinner table. Really valuable, especially with her growing interest in STEM.

We’ve tried a few online programs, but most felt like fluff. This was different. Nolan walked away actually understanding what powers smart assistants and recommendation systems. The discussion around ethical use of AI was particularly impactful. Highly recommend for curious teens.

I wasn’t sure if he’d fully grasp what AI is, but the instructor made everything so clear and age-appropriate that Timur not only understood it — he explained it to me! The camp used real-life examples, interactive tasks, and even encouraged debates. And the certificate from Cisco was a great bonus.

Sophia’s considering a future in Data Science, and this camp was the perfect entry point. It wasn’t code-heavy but gave her a strong grasp of how AI works and the challenges it brings. She especially enjoyed the discussion on algorithmic bias — she even used it in a school project afterward. Great content and engaging instruction.
