Welcome to the English Language Arts course by Pennant Education!
ELA (English Language Arts) classes (available K-12) focus on developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills. Students build a solid foundation in phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension, progressing to literary analysis, academic writing, and research skills. The curriculum includes creative writing, essay composition, and preparation for standardized tests like the SAT and Digital SAT. Through engaging texts and structured lessons, students gain the confidence and proficiency needed for academic success and effective communication.

She holds a B.A. in Communications, an M.A. in Teaching English, and an Ed.D. in Instructional Design. Dr. Chezik specializes in English composition, remedial literacy, public speaking, life skills, and employment readiness. With a deep appreciation for neurodiversity, she brings energy, empathy, and expertise to every lesson, helping each student thrive with confidence and joy.

Tiffany is a passionate ELA teacher and creative writing mentor from Southern California with nearly 10 years of experience working with children, including those with special needs and learning differences. A self-published author and dedicated tutor, she helps students build confidence in reading, writing, and self-expression. Tiffany holds an Associate degree in Liberal Studies and B.A. in English and Creative Writing. With a warm, empathetic approach, she inspires young learners to find their voice and grow as thoughtful, capable communicators.
